Tropa Macaca are André Abel (electric guitar) and Joana da Conceição (synthesizers and electronics), a band based in Lisbon and working in the field of contemporary electronic composition.
Amounting to 6 years of creative partnership and public activity, they’ve been putting out their work on essential labels of the European and US underground such as Qbico and Siltbreeze, with their latest record “Ectoplasma” having been released in August 2012 on Daniel Lopatin’s (Oneohtrix Point Never) Software.
